Book Week Library

Today we went to the library for book week. Ra read us some books and then we split up into two groups. One group drew dinosaurs and the other group did a treasurehunt.
Shari and Tom were drawn out for the spot prizes. They were dinosaur books.

Today we went down to the pool to watch the other Room 5 children that were swimming in the length races. These photos are from our swimming demonstration on Monday.

On Monday after morning tea we are going to the town pool for a demonstration of our swimming.
1. Length races
2. Half length races
3. Group demonstrations
4. Fun races.

After this Miss Veale will be buying us some hot chips to share.

Summer Reading Prize Winners

38 children from St Marys won prizes in the summer reading challenge. Well done to the Room 5 winners. Pia won a book as well however she was away for our photo.

Room 5 you have been working hard on your swimming and you look like you enjoy your play at the end of our session.

Our health unit this term is Me. We are looking at how we can manage ourselves and become more independant. We began by brainstorming words that describe us and things we like to do and then we put these words into a word cloud.
