Room 5's Monarchs

When we got to school we saw something on the window. We gathered around the window to see what it was. It was 2 orange and black butterflies. Soon Miss Veale got them down and brought them outside. One fluttered away but the next one stayed on her finger and we got to put it on our heads. When we put it on the branched it stayed there for a while. We got bored watching it and went back inside.     A big shout out to Rm 5 St Marys especially Tom. what a fun site I wish they had this when I went to school there in Hokitika many many years ago in the 70's. Amazing butterflies and what a great way to spend an afternoon completing the Relay for Life. Well done Rm 5 keep up the good work.
