Kaikoura

Hi Room 5
I have just been to Kaikoura for a couple of days and had a great time. I went on a whale watch and I saw 3 sperm whales and about 200 dolphins. There were also lots of seals around and yummy food.

Geo caching

Hi Room 5
I hope you had a great day yesterday. What a wonderful suprise at the end to discover the easter eggs at with the last cache. Yum. Get out geo caching in the holidays. They are all around the country and all around the world. The app is available for android or ipod touches and iphones or you can just log onto the web site and download the coordinates and use a gps. (if you can work one) I will put some more pictures up soon. :) Have a great holiday. Keep reading and using mathletics. :) :)

Our evacuation walk

Today we went up to the top of Whitcombe Terrace and we were boiling hot. The whole school went up the hill in 14 mins. We were practicing in case there was an earthquake and a tsunami.

Stations of the cross

Jesus walked a long way with the cross and he got to one town and there were people saying nasty things at him. He fell over three times. When he got up the hill past the town walls he died on the cross. By Siegfried.

There were 14 stations of the cross and the soilders were telling him to keep on going and he was tired and thirsty. Simon helped him carry the cross.  He got nailed to the cross by his hands and feet. His body was put in the tomb with a big rock and it was dark. By Ocean
