On the weekend I went to Cromwell. It took 6.5 hours to get there so it was a very long drive. Many years ago in Cromwell they flooded the town to make Lake Dunstan and there are still some remaining buildings that have been restored. This picture was taken at the lake edge.
Wow what a long drive.Why would they make a river.
